That just copies Rhinoceros from the disk image to my computer. All I need to do is click and drag this Rhinoceros file and drop it in my Applications folder. To start, I'll just double click on the dmg, and this launches the installer. That's the installer, and at the time of this recording, 5.0.2 is the most current version. In my Downloads folder, I have Rhinoceros_5.0.2.dmg. We'll use that later as we activate the trial license. I went ahead and clicked on the download link and copied the license key that was sent along with it. I'll wait a few minutes for those to come through. Then I see this yellow notification at the bottom here, telling me that a download link and a license key have been sent to my email. Here, I'm prompted to enter an email address. What we really want, is this Rhino 5 for Mac.

If you're interested in that, check that out.

Just one quick aside, in addition to the full version of Rhino for Mac, there's also an IOS app that lets you view Rhino files on your iPad or your iPhone. Obviously, that's not what we're interested in today. I'll go ahead and click on this download link. The first step is to launch a web browser and navigate to /mac. Let's take a look at downloading and installing Rhino 5 for Mac.
